Meet the Team

 Chuck Stefanki, Co–Owner

Chuck Stefanski is a Northeast Ohio native; he graduated from the Medina County Career Center in 2003 from the Automotive Technician Program. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2006 with an Associates degree in High Performance Motorsports.

Chuck specializes in LSX Tuning and using HP Tuners, he is also a founder of Big 3 Racing.

Chuck is an LS Engine Fanatic and currently owns an 2004 Pontiac GTO with a Big 3 Racing 408 Short block with a 76mm turbo. The “Wolf in Goats Clothing” makes over 1,000hp and running in the 9’s with A/C.

 

 Rick Trunkett, Co-owner

Rick Trunkett is a Northeast Ohio native; he graduated from the Medina County Career Center in 2003 from the Automotive Technician Program. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2006 with an Associates degree in High Performance Motorsports.

Rick specializes in Ford EFI Tuners, is a Holley ERI Factory Trained tuner and also specializes in forced induction; Rick is one of the founders of Big 3 Racing.

Rick is a Mopar enthusiast, his “sleeper” 1972 Plymouth Duster helped bring in business to Big 3 Racing and continues to turn heads, making over 900 HP on our chassis dyno.

 

 Bob Hess Jr., Co-Owner

Bob Hess Jr. is a Northeast Ohio native; he graduated from the Medina County Career Center in 2003 from the Automotive Technician Program. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2006 with an Associates degree in High Performance Motorsports.

Bob specializes in Engine Building and various other jobs at Big 3 Racing; He is also one of the founders of Big 3 Racing.

A Mopar enthusiast, Bob owns a 2000 Dodge Viper GTS with Ported Heads, cam, and a 200 shot or nitrous. The Viper makes just over 700 HP at the wheels.

 

 Alex Olivo,High Performance Technician

Alex Olivo is a Northeast Ohio native; he graduated from the Medina County Career Center in 2009 from the Automotive Technician Program. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2012 with an Associates degree in High Performance Motorsports.

He has experience with both mechanical and customer service. Alex has always had a passion for high performance since his early days of going to local car shows and tinkering with his projects in the barn.

What fuels his drive is his constant ability to dedicate all time needed to finish a project. His dedication shows in his custom built 1997 Chevrolet S10 with an LS swap that runs 10.90’s on the drag strip.

 

 Dustin Maddocks, Service Manager

Dustin Maddocks graduated from Wyotech in 2010 with an Associates Degree in Specialized Technology and Management as well as taking the High Performance Program.

Dustin is the Service Manager at Big 3 Racing; He specializes in communication and enjoys helping a customer find just what they’re looking for as well as assisting on projects in the shop.

When Dustin isn’t at the front desk you’ll find him at the drag strips; He drives a 1986 Ford Mustang that makes over 700 HP on our chassis dyno.
