Heat is the enemy of performance. As a supercharger compresses air, intake temperatures rise, reducing the engine’s ability to maintain consistent power—especially during repeated dyno pulls, drag strip passes, or hard road-course sessions.
The Big3Racing C7 Z06 Heat Exchanger Tank is designed to help combat heat soak by adding nearly 3 gallons of cooling system capacity and allowing you to add ice for maximum cooling when it matters most.
Proven Performance
During dyno testing on a bone-stock 2015 Corvette Z06, we saw a loss of approximately 100 wheel horsepower after just three consecutive pulls with the factory cooling system.
With our tank installed, our testing has shown gains of up to 25 WHP with additional coolant and up to 40 WHP when adding ice. Factory-system intake temperatures could reach 210°F, while testing with the upgraded tank and ice has produced temperatures below ambient.
Lower intake temperatures help reduce heat soak and improve power retention, giving you more consistent performance when pushing your Z06 hard.
